A Browning Cynergy looks different because it is. From the outset, it was designed to be sleeker, lighter, and very compact,– so low that it's the lowest profile over and under 12 gauge you can get your hands on.
A low-profile receiver is more than just hype, it offers the shooter real advantages that improve accuracy and comfort. The reduced height brings the forward hand closer to the bore line to improve pointability and balance. Additionally, having the barrels more in line with the shoulder improves recoil control to limit muzzle jump for more accurate follow-up shots.
We were also able to shrink the receiver without sacrificing the strength that Browning over and unders are known for. Like other low-profile guns, the monoblock pivots on a pair of side-mounted trunnions, but that is where the similarities end. The strong MonoLock Hinge design is the engineering behind the Cynergy’s low profile receiver. The MonoLock Hinge is the integration of the monoblock and the hinge and this combination has up to 300% more surface area to pivot on than traditional trunnion-style hinges. Rectangular locking pins provide extra strength and feature a “Wear-In Relief” that keeps the action tight.
Just as the performance advantages of the Cynergy can't be denied, neither can the versatility. These shotguns are designed to excel from the trap range to a turkey hunt and everywhere in between.

MONOLOCK HINGE
The strong MonoLock Hinge design integrates the monoblock and the hinge for up to 300% more surface area to pivot on than traditional trunnion-style hinges. Rectangular locking pins provide extra strength and feature a “Wear-In Relief” that keeps the action tight.
STEEL RECEIVER
Receivers (except Feather models) are machined from steel and feature either a traditional blued finish or a silver nitride finish that offers improved wear resistance, increased fatigue strength and added protection against corrosion. Read more...
FEATHER TECHNOLOGY
Feather technology replaces the steel receiver with a high quality alloy receiver to reduce weight by about one pound. Steel inserts are placed in the alloy receiver at the breech face and hinge surfaces to retain long-term durability.
REVERSE STRIKER TRIGGER
The Reverse Striker is a striker-based, mechanical trigger system that does not use the inertia from recoil to set the hammers. It offers a crisp feel, reduced locktime and less overtravel than other over and under shotguns and eliminates the possibility of the second barrel not firing.
IMPACT EJECTORS
Impact Ejectors are aided by a secondary striker spring for positive, reliable ejection of fired hulls from the chambers. Unfired shells are elevated for easy removal.
PRECISION BARRELS
Browning shotgun barrels are noted for their quality construction that emphasizes durability with features that optimize shot pattern performance.
CHOKE TUBES
To maximize versatility and optimize shot pattern performance, Cynergy shotguns feature the Invector-Plus system.
FLOATING RIB
A floating rib prevents point of impact shifts caused by barrel heating as it allows the rib and barrel to expand independently.
POINT OF IMPACT
Cynergy shotguns feature a 60/40 POI that is preferred when a target presentation can come from anywhere, like a clay target soaring above or a pheasant erupting from the brush. The Classic Trap model features a 70/30 POI that is ideal for trap.
CHROME CHAMBERS
Cynergy shotguns feature chrome chambers for increased durability, corrosion resistance and easier cleaning.
INFLEX II RECOIL PAD

THREE POSITION TRIGGER

SAFETY/BARREL SELECTOR
Placed within easy reach on the top tang, the safety and barrel selector switch is intutive to operate and allows you to select which barrel fires first.
ADJUSTABLE COMB
Certain models feature an adjustable comb to customize stock dimensions such as cast and drop. An adjustable comb will help you achieve a perfect fit to your shotgun and a repeatable mount that instinctively puts your eye consistently in alignment with the sights.

VECTOR PRO FORCING CONE
The forcing cone is the tapered transition between the chamber and the bore that constricts the shot column. Vector Pro is superior because it has a gradual taper.
