This individual must have a proven track record with a creative eye toward capturing product imagery through their passion for lighting, styling, and composition. 

The ideal candidate will be a like-minded, creative whiz who enjoys working on multiple projects simultaneously and can adapt easily to last-minute changes in direction and project execution. This individual must be equally engaged with both creative and production assignments across myriad marketing mediums including: E-commerce, print and digital advertising campaigns, social media, and web content.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Ability to professionally photograph products that vary in size, shape, color and features. 

Proficiency in strobe and ambient lighting, composition, image manipulation, file output and management. Photo retouching including color correction, compositing, masking, resizing and optimization. Soft boxes, umbrellas, strobes.

Enjoys setting up product shots, including selecting props, merchandising and styling. Configuring camera angles, product rotation, stuffing, propping, organizing and repackaging products.

Must be able to photograph product on models, on mannequins, lay flats, and hanging apparel. 

Advanced photo editing skills including post-production techniques and abilities, such as creating clipping paths and retouching in Adobe Photoshop. Image preparation (resizing, cleaning surfaces, removing imperfections, color correction, image selection, deleting duplicates, file naming, etc.)

Manage third-party photo editing services.

Enjoys the process of keeping files organized, metadata tagging, and creating keywords to quickly locate photos within a digital asset management filing system. Able to import, organize, catalog, and provide final images into a shared environment.

Able to work quickly and efficiently and able to take direction well. Is creative, communicative, patient, motivated, efficient, organized, collaborative, friendly, and able to maintain good relationships with clients.

Responsible for maintenance of photographic equipment including cameras, studio lighting equipment, backdrops, and lighting calibration equipment.

In-depth working knowledge of Canon DSLR camera systems manual usage, mirrorless, strobe lighting and tethered shooting. 

Mac user with Adobe Creative Suite; specifically, Lightroom, Bridge, and Photoshop. AEM and DAM experience are a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Photography or related field or Associates degree along with a combination of relevant experience required.

Browning Quality Assurance Engineer

Browning, an industry leader in the Shooting and Hunting Outdoor industry, is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer for our Arnold, Missouri facility.

SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance Engineer plays a critical role in the quality control processes and procedures for Browning and Winchester Repeating Arms firearms. This role works in tandem with our quality control team. The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for identifying improvement opportunities in products, specifications, and processes. When opportunities are identified, perform technical and statistical investigations, and then lead change to make improvements.

The Quality Assurance Engineer performs reception audits of incoming firearm shipments for conformance to Browning and Winchester Repeating Arms specifications.  This position is responsible for identifying quality problems using root cause analysis and developing corrective actions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Conduct reception audits of incoming firearm shipments to BNA Arnold.  
  2. Execute tasks according to priority and direction of the site in coordination with the Arnold Quality Manager. 
  3. Teach and share expertise of reception audit procedures and processes. 
  4. Interface with Arnold Gun Shop to review warranty claims and help identify root causes. 
  5. Gather warranty claim data.
  6. Coordinate periodically with service personnel for the purpose of problem identification.
  7. Oversee and perform verification testing of warranty claim root causes and corrective actions. 
  8. Conduct and participate in product qualification testing at all production factories.
  9. Participate in firearm testing that requires high-volume shooting, including high energy and magnum loads.
  10. Conduct and attend factory process audits to determine root cause of warranty claims and implementation of corrective actions.
  11. Complete T&E reports for product testing and qualifications. 
  12. Use engineering expertise to understand BACO and WRA firearms specifications.
  13. Use knowledge of operational functions for each firearm action type in the Browning and WRA product lines to complete assigned duties.
  14. Complete all other duties as assigned.

Specific Duties

The Browning Service and Distribution Center located in Arnold, Missouri is searching for a full-time Technical Service Agent to join our team and provide top-notch service to our customers over the phone, via email, and in the future, online chat. This position requires someone who is outgoing, organized, friendly and who enjoys interacting with consumers to answer questions, solve problems and provide education while maintaining our company’s reputation for high-quality service. 

The duties performed in this position require technical knowledge of Browning and Winchester firearms products. Avid hunting and shooting experience will provide a solid background allowing the agent to answer questions posed during a technical call. Additional on-the-job product training will be provided through printed literature, product classes, and sales meetings.

  2. Provide repair status and information on the customer’s repair.
