Shooting Accessory Product Manager

Browning, the legendary sporting firearms and outdoor products company, is seeking a Shooting Accessory Product Manager to join our team.   Located a short 40 miles NE of Salt Lake City and accessible from all areas of the Wasatch Front; the scenic beauty and serenity of the area creates an ideal work setting.

Job Summary

The Shooting Accessory Product Manager specializes in product conceptualization, analysis, design, sourcing, production management, pricing, sample management, inventory analysis and control. The successful candidate will develop useful reports and systems to accommodate efficient and correct development and delivery of quality products, collaborate with other division personnel, interface and follow up with suppliers to ensure product flow.

Job Duties

  1. Design, create, modify, source, produce, promote and merchandise new and existing products in the Shooting Accessory market including, but not limited to, scope bases and rings, scope mounts, choke tubes, gun care/maintenance supplies, gun cases, hearing and eye protection, magazines, shooting bags, sights, gun slings and other products based on assignment and/or opportunity.
  2. Interface with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure proper quality and timely production of product. 
  3. Create and maintain systems to track product development, delivery and sell-through. Track production and distribution of sales samples to ensure timely delivery to external sales teams. Track, control and expedite product through development, manufacturing and distribution cycles.
  4. Develop, run and analyze reports which determine product sell-through, profitability (margins) and inventory turn.
  5. Make and implement recommendations to direct and improve sales, profits, inventory control and product development. Coordinate with Advertising and Marketing departments to ensure that product samples are delivered on time for key projects and events (i.e., writers’ hunts, photography, video, printed material, sales meeting and trade show use). 
  6. Analyze product success in relation to fit, form and function as well as financial and logistical measurements. Make product line adjustments where necessary, maximizing opportunity.
  7. Work with sales reps, dealers and customers to ensure maximum sales and profits. Obtain product and market feedback from dealers, consumers and sales reps. Travel is required to shows and events.
  8. Other duties as assigned by management.


Bachelor's degree (BA) from an accredited four-year college or university; three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Basic accounting principles including budgeting, statistics and mathematics
  • Marketing principles including web and ecommerce sales and marketing
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Suite programs, familiarity with Adobe Photoshop a plus
  • Familiarity with textiles and apparel retailing, wholesaling and manufacturing a plus

Digital Marketing Manager

Browning located in scenic Mountain Green, Utah is searching for a Digital Marketing Manager to develop, implement and manage digital marketing strategies. Provide art and creative direction to advertising team. Oversee general brand guideline management. Create content calendar planning.

E-Commerce Data Specialist

Browning located in scenic Mountain Green, Utah is searching for an E-Commerce Data Specialist.  This position is responsible for delivering an outstanding online shopping experience by keeping product information updated across platforms. They will interact with product teams, marketing and advertising groups to help keep product data, content and imagery current on the website.

  • Manage Shopify data and execute maintenance and functionality 
  • Maintain filtered search pages and internal data monitoring (HUB)

Senior Administrative Assistant & Sales Coordinator

  1. Perform administrative assistant duties for the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Firearms.

  3. Calculate and verify accuracy and payment of commissions to U.S. and Canadian rep firms.

Accounting Clerk

Job Summary

Assists the Accounts Payable Manager and the Assistant Controller in the Finance Department by formulating daily cash flow reports, preparing monthly spreadsheet reports, following up with various banks on company accounts, maintaining Letter of Credit files.  Record daily foreign currency rates and prepare monthly report. Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding all proprietary situations and documentation. 

Job Duties

  1. Perform all assistant duties for the Accounts Payable Manager and Assistant Controller.
  2. Make payment of vendor invoices within terms and cash discount dates.
  3. Coordinate printing of all accounts payable reports.
  4. Receive and process invoices from vendors and suppliers, verify and confirm the validity of invoices and audit for use tax due.  Distribute invoice totals to assigned general ledger accounts.
  5. Work with other departments to ensure their timely approval of their invoices through On Base.
  6. File accounts payable vouchers.
  7. Accumulate and formulate daily cash flow report providing the Accounts Payable Manager and Assistant Controller with vital information for cash forecasts and information on daily bank balances.  Prepare a monthly view of bank activity.
  8. Prepare, proof and compile monthly spreadsheet for netting report with the database operations program paradox.
  9. Record daily foreign currency rates.  Calculate and prepare Foreign Currency Exchange Rate report distributed monthly to management.
  10. Follow-up on critical bank communications concerning wire transfers, Letters of Credit, etc.
  11. Reconcile Wells Fargo controlled disbursement monthly statement to the daily cash records to ensure no errors were made on transfers either by Browning or the banks. Reconcile controlled disbursement account to the general ledger.
  12. Prepare all forms of information that concern corporate resolutions, bank signatories, funds transfer agreements, etc.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with Paradox, On Base, Hubble
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; and/or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
