Back-Bored Technology

Back-Bored Technology enlarges the barrel bore to the ideal diameter, offerring three major benefits:

Browning back-bore specifications increase shot pellet velocity. Our precision manufactured barrels use the ideal bore diameter that prevents gases from escaping around the base of the wad and reduces friction between the shot column and the barrel wall. Faster pellets mean you hit targets harder and bring down more birds.

Accuracy is improved through our perfected bore diameter. This measurement gives the pellets in the shot column more breathing room; minimizing crushing and deformation as they move through the barrel. When pellets stay round, they fly straighter. With Back-Bored Technology, you get tighter patterns with fewer "flyers" that miss the mark, giving you deadly accurate shot patterns.

Less friction inside the bore also results in less felt recoil. Because the shot moves more easily through the barrel, the gun doesn't kick against your shoulder as hard. You get less felt recoil, which helps you stay on target for fast, accurate follow-up shots.
