This design, combined with second-to-none build quality, allows the action to handle the stresses of thousands of rounds and easily outlast the competitors' guns. Although robust, you don't pay a weight penalty, the single barrel makes for a fluid swing with effortless follow through.
The BT-99 benefits greatly from its tenure. The stock dimensions are dialed to fit a broad array of users and models with adjustable components are available to accommodate those that demand perfection. Forearms are wide and low for a positive hold and to keep the leading hand closer to the bore. Size appropriate barrel lengths on Micro models keep balance in check and offset shorter length of pull stocks.

Features of the BT-99.
FULL-WIDTH HINGE PIN
The monoblock hinges on a strong full-width hinge pin that is significantly stronger and more durable than trunnion designs.
TAPERED LOCKING BOLT
A transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt fits into the monoblock recess and self-adjusts for wear to keep the action locked-up tight.
STEEL RECEIVER
The receiver is machined from steel and features either a traditional blued finish or a silver nitride finish that offers improved wear resistance, increased fatigue strength and added protection against corrosion. Read more...
HULL EXTRACTOR
Most BT-99 models have a hull extractor that lifts the hull or unfired shell from the chamber. Max High Grade and Plus models have an ejector that ejects fired hulls and lifts unfired shells.

POINT OF IMPACT
Because the BT-99 is suited for trap shooting, they have a POI of 70/30 where the higher POI allows a rising target to be visible when the trigger is pulled. The Max High Grade has an adjustable rib to tailor POI to suit your needs.
CHROME CHAMBER
BT-99 shotguns feature a chrome chamber for increased durability, corrosion resistance and easier cleaning.
COMFORTABLE RECOIL PAD
BT-99 models use either a trap-style pad or the Inflex II recoil pad (shown). A trap-style pad has a concave face for fixed-position shooting and the design and materials used offer excellent mitigation of felt recoil. The Inflex II recoil pad uses directional deflection to send the comb down and away from the face, reducing felt recoil for greater shooting comfort and allowing faster, more accurate follow-up shots.
ADJUSTABLE COMB
Certain models feature an adjustable comb to customize stock dimensions such as cast and drop. An adjustable comb will help you achieve a perfect fit to your shotgun and a repeatable mount that instinctively puts your eye consistently in alignment with the sights.
GRACO BUTT PAD PLATE
Fine tuning the fit of your shotgun is the key to consistent shooting success. The Graco butt pad plate uses a pair of eccentric cams to adjust for height, cant and rotation. Fifteen mounting holes position the recoil pad in the exact position you need.
GRACOIL® RECOIL REDUCTION SYSTEM
In addition to reducing felt recoil, the GraCoil Recoil Reduction System allows you to set for length of pull, drop, and rotation to match your style. BEAVERTAIL FOREARM
A beavertail forearm helps control recoil and keeps the front hand closer to the bore to improve hand-eye coordination.
