X-Bolt 2 Speed Kryptek Transitional SPR

Overview

The original X-Bolt Speed rifle has been a top performer in the field for several years. Not only did the Speed rifle break new ground with its straight-shooting features, it was also cosmetically different than other bolt-action rifles with a barreled action protected by a durable Cerakote finish, camouflage on the lightweight composite stock, and a fluted, sporter weight precision barrel. The awesome appearance of the Speed rifle was more than ably backed-up by its tack driving performance.

The X-Bolt 2 Speed Krytek Obskura Transitional SPR builds on the Speed legacy. This rifle is built for the on-the-move hunter that pursues big game in every environment. It retains features from other Speed SPR rifles, like a fluted sporter contour barrel with a shorter length for use with a suppressor. The muzzle is threaded 5/8"-24 to accept the included radial muzzle brake, thread protector cap, or install an aftermarket suppressor. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.

The Cerakote Smoked Bronze finish is applied to the action and barrel for metal protection that exceeds traditional bluing or stainless steel. The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds.

The lightweight Vari-Tech composite stock features 3-way adjustment, concealment with Kryptek® Obskura Transitional™, for excellent concealment in various terrain and environments, and a new, thicker Inflex recoil pad.

With the Vari-Tech stock adjustments can be easily made to the comb height to dial-in the alignment between your eye and optics. Length of pull is adjusted internally with spacers for a solid, rattle-free feel. Even the grip angle can be changed by switching between the sporter and vertical grip modules. On the subject of grip, rubber overmolding on the gripping surfaces provides added security in all conditions.

When hunting, fractions of a second can determine success or failure. When fit to your dimensions, the Vari-Tech stock creates a rifle that feels like an extension of your body so you can get an accurate first shot off sooner and have faster, more accurate follow up shots.
