X-Bolt 2 Medallion

Overview

The Browning X-Bolt holds a fine reputation as an accurate, reliable rifle that hunters can depend on. With a number of enhancements, the new X-Bolt 2 Medallion is set to shoulder that legacy with style.

The X-Bolt 2 Medallion gives the hunter that prefers a classic rifle something to revel in with a handsome Grade III walnut stock with gloss finish and rosewood caps at the fore-end tip and grip cap. Gloss blued finish on the engraved receiver, barrel, and bottom metal accentuates the stock and raises the bar of elegance. The spiral fluted bolt reduces weight and adds visual interest.

Focusing on performance, the X-Bolt 2 Medallion is an ideal blend of tradition and design that will satisfy the needs of shooters. It features a sporter contour barrel that keeps the rifle light, maneuverable, and easy to carry. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.

The action has been redesigned with additional bolt guidance surface for smoother cycling. The bolt has also been reworked and is fitted with an ergonomic bolt knob.

The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds. (Adjustable down to 3.0 pounds.)

X-Bolt 2 Features

The action is bedded at the recoil lug and action screws for stability and to free-float the barrel
Bolt Unlock Button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety during checking and unloading of the chamber
Easy to reach top-tang safety
Short 60° bolt lift is fast cycling and clears large optics
X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base for rock-solid attachment to the receiver
