X-Bolt 2 Hunter Laminate Two-Tone - Bolt-Action Rifle

Overview

The Browning X-Bolt holds a fine reputation as an accurate, reliable rifle that hunters can depend on. With a number of enhancements, the new X-Bolt 2 Hunter Laminate is set to shoulder that legacy.

Featuring a stable laminate stock styled after the X-Bolt 2 Hunter, the Hunter Laminate is an ideal blend of tradition and design that will satisfy the needs of shooters. It features sporter contour barrel that keeps the rifle light, maneuverable, and easy to carry. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.

For the X-Bolt 2, the stainless steel action has been redesigned with additional bolt guidance surface for smoother cycling. The bolt has also been reworked and is fitted with an ergonomic bolt knob.

The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds. (Adjustable down to 3.0 pounds.)

Spiral fluted bolt with ergonomic handle shape

Sporter contour barrel with on-reflective matte blued finish for the ideal blend of accuracy and weight savings
Low profile bottom metal
Removable radial-style muzzle brake reduces felt recoil (thread protector included)
1-1/4" Inflex recoil pad

X-Bolt 2 Features

Receiver features additional bolt guidance surface area for smoother operation
Patent-pending adjustable DLX Trigger set to hunting weights
The action is bedded at the recoil lug and action screws for stability and to free-float the barrel
Bolt Unlock Button works in conjunction with the top-tang safety to provide an added measure of safety during checking and unloading of the chamber
Easy to reach top-tang safety
Short 60° bolt lift is fast cycling and clears large optics
X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base for rock-solid attachment to the receiver
