X-Bolt 2 Composite Special LR

Overview

The X-Bolt 2 Special LR is designed to deliver tack-driving performance, whether you're in the field or at the bench. With features like a weather-resistant black composite stock, it offers durability and ease of transport through rugged environments. Like all X-Bolt 2 rifles, the Composite Special LR is built on a new receiver design with an additional bolt guidance surface for smooth, fast cycling.

The heavy sporter contour barrel is optimized for long range shooting and finished with a non-reflective matte stainless coating. The muzzle is threaded with 5/8"-24 suppressor-ready threading. The action is bedded, and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.

A non-reflective matte blued finish is applied to the redesigned action. The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds.

The patented rotary magazine feeds cartridges from the center of the magazine for straight to the chamber feeding. The magazine also has shoulder retention to protect the tip of the bullet from striking the front of the magazine during recoil.
