Browning Feather Technology replaces a traditional steel receiver with a lightweight, robust aircraft-grade alloy that reduces the weight of an over-and-under shotgun by nearly a pound. This weight reduction substantially reduces shooter fatigue during long days and many miles in the field. Found on Citori 825 Feather, Citori 725 Feather, Citori Feather Lightning, and some Cynergy over-and-under shotgun models. 

Normally, a lightweight alloy receiver wears faster than it's steel counterpart under regular use. To account for this, Browning reinforces the critical high-wear areas with steel inserts.

• Breech Face: Every Feather model features a steel breech face carefully fitted into the alloy receiver. 
• Citori Hinge Pin: A full-width steel hinge pin is fitted into the lightweight receiver, creating an extremely durable pivot surface.
• Cynergy Hinge Surfaces: Steel inserts added to the Monolock Hinge ensure longevity.
