Alpha Max flashlight battery specifications and warnings

Browning recommends the following rechargeable battery specifications for use with Alpha Max flashlights:

AA-sized lithium-ion 14500
3.6V or 3.7V
mAH 750-900
Button top on the + end (not a flat top)
Be sure the battery has a built-in protection circuit.

Please follow the manufacturer's recommendations for recharging and storing the battery. Remove the battery from the flashlight when not in use.

WARNING: 14500 lithium-ion batteries are NOT a direct replacement for standard AA alkaline batteries or NiMH rechargeable batteries in most flashlights or other consumer devices. 14500 lithium-ion batteries operate at more than twice the voltage of standard AA alkaline batteries and may damage or destroy a device that is not specifically designed for their use. Do not use 14500 lithium-ion batteries unless recommended by the manufacturer.
