DLX Trigger
The DLX Trigger is a multi-lever design that optimizes sear weight and trigger movement to provide shooters with an extremely consistent, crisp break. The DLX Trigger design comes standard across the entire X-Bolt 2 platform. Competition rifles feature the DLX Target Trigger.
Key Benefits
- Pull Weight: The DLX Trigger is factory set to 3-1/2 lbs. but is adjustable down to 3 lb. The DLX Target Trigger is factory set to 2-1/2 lbs. but is adjustable down to 2 lb.
- Design: Features a wide, perfectly curved shoe that naturally aligns with the index finger's first knuckle.
- Mechanism: Multiple-lever system that optimizes sear weight for a highly consistent feel.
What Sets the DLX Trigger Design Apart from the Competition
To maximize precision, the DLX Trigger design ensures an immediate, glass-like break that minimizes shooter-induced movements. These three performance-enhancing features include:
- Zero Creep: By using a fixed level of engagement, this system eliminates sliding friction, ensuring there is no perceptible movement or travel before the trigger releases the hammer/striker.
- Zero Take-Up: When the hunter or target shooter applies pressure, the trigger immediately engages the sear and begins the "break" without any initial slack or "pre-travel."
- Zero Overtravel: Immediately after the shot is fired, the trigger stops moving. This eliminates the "mushy" or dead space movement.
