Located a short 40 miles NE of Salt Lake City and accessible from all areas of the Wasatch Front, the scenic beauty and serenity of the area creates an ideal work setting.
This is primarily an in-office role with some limited flexibility after onboarding and training.
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Oracle ERP Developer is responsible for the research, design, development, enhancement, and support of our heavily customized enterprise resource planning environment based on Oracle E-Business Suite. This role supports critical business operations across Financials, Purchasing, Order Management, Inventory, and Shipping, while also designing and maintaining integrations between on-premises Oracle systems and cloud-based SaaS applications.
This position requires a combination of technical depth, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability to deliver stable, scalable, and efficient ERP solutions. The right candidate will be capable of both developing complex technical solutions and supporting production systems in a mission-critical environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite modules including:
- Financials
- Purchasing
- Order Management
- Inventory
- Shipping Execution
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between on-premises Oracle systems and cloud-based SaaS applications
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects
- Create and support interfaces, APIs, concurrent programs, and data conversion processes
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex application and data issues
- Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain custom reports and reporting solutions
- Support system upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment activities
- Perform impact analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of production issues
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and system design records
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors
- Support continuous improvement of ERP platforms and integrations
- WMS
- All other duties as required/assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5–10 years of relevant Oracle ERP development/support experience
- Strong Oracle Database and SQL/PLSQL development experience
- Experience supporting Oracle Financials, Purchasing, Order Management, Inventory, and Shipping modules
- Experience working in customized Oracle E-Business Suite environments
- Strong experience developing and supporting integrations between on-premises and cloud-based SaaS applications
- Experience with Oracle interfaces, APIs, concurrent programs, and custom Oracle applications
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Oracle Forms experience
- Oracle Reports experience
- XML Publisher / BI Publisher experience
- Oracle Workflow experience
- Performance tuning experience
- Experience with EDI and third-party system integrations
- Experience supporting complex ERP integration environments
- Familiarity with change management and release processes
- Working knowledge of additional programming languages such as Java or C++ (helpful for understanding integrations, middleware, or legacy enterprise components)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
5–10+ years of experience supporting and developing Oracle ERP systems, including strong Oracle E-Business Suite technical experience and custom Oracle database development.

Design Engineer II

JOB SUMMARY
The Firearms Design Engineer is responsible for the research, design, development, and improvement of firearms and firearm components. This role involves applying mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes to create safe, reliable, high performance firearms while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, company, and industry standards. The right candidate for this position needs to have a combination of innovation and creativity, but also can test, analyze, and use critical thinking skills to bring solid results to a finished product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design of new, high-quality firearms, from concept to production, in accordance with company objectives.
- Create or modify detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate prototype fabrication, leading the initial assembly, testing and evaluation processes.
- Identification, diagnosis, and resolution of product design and process development issues.
- Conduct tolerance stack ups, stress analysis, and material selection.
- Perform functional testing, reliability assessments, and failure analysis on prototypes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production efficiency and cost.
- Ensure all designs comply with federal, state, and international regulations.
- Support continuous improvement of existing firearm platforms.
- Maintain accurate design records and generate reports as required.
- Manage projects from concept through release, including scheduling and milestone tracking.
- Travel upon request to the various production facilities, both domestic and international.
- All other duties as required/assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands on experience with firearms assembly, function testing, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of SAAMI, CIP, ATF, ITAR, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of ergonomics, human factors, and user centric design.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (Creo preferred).
- Familiarity with materials such as steel, alloys, polymers, and composites.
- Experience with GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, metal injection molding, plastic injection molding, casting, forging, and additive manufacturing.
- Ability to apply engineering analysis methods.
- Strong problem solving skills and mechanical intuition.
- Some knowledge or experience in the following areas is beneficial but not required:
- Engineering testing and instrumentation including strain, load, and pressure measurements using the National Instruments LabVIEW software.
- Setup and use of high-speed video equipment.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Manufacturing experience in relevant technologies.
- Tolerance analysis and the use of tolerance analysis software.
- Experience with metal finishing, coating, and plating.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- The employee must enjoy, support, and have a passion for the firearms industry.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering, (Mechanical preferred), from an accredited college or university; an advanced degree is a plus.
10+ years’ experience in engineering design of mechanical consumer products (firearms preferred) with 2D and 3D CAD software (Creo preferred).
