August is National Shooting Sports Month!

Browning proudly sponsors NSSF efforts to encourage participation in outdoor sports.

Browning is proud to announce its involvement in National Shooting Sports Month in partnership with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). Created to encourage participation in many shooting sports genres and emphasize firearms safety, this nationwide celebration will take place throughout the month of August.

August is a key month for Browning and for all hunters and shooters as we wind down a summer of target and varmint shooting and get ready for the hunting seasons which are starting soon all across the country. We agree with the NSSF that August is the perfect time to do some shooting . . . and especially to involve friends and acquaintances who are new to the hunting/shooting sports by taking them with us the next time we head out.

Celebrate the shooting sports you love during the month of August with thousands of special events taking place at retailers and ranges all over the country. Reconnect with family for a great day of target shooting. Dust off an old favorite gun you haven’t shot for a while and rediscover why it’s one of your favorites. Try a new target sport and broaden your skills, and while you’re at it take the +ONE Pledge and introduce someone new to the lifetime of entertainment shooting sports provide. All this and more are waiting for you during National Shooting Sports Month. #LetsGoShooting!

Here are three ways to get involved this August.
