Product Quality Technician

 There is an opening in the Morgan Quality Department for a Product Quality Technician. 

 Measure and analyze part to print conformance and assist with product qualification. Position requires efficiency in blueprint reading, metrology, GD&T, and practical application of Microsoft office software. Extensive shooting including large gauge/caliber firearms will be required. 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Inspect and measure finished products, components, or assemblies to verify adherence to   specifications.

 Ability to endure a high volume of repetitive shooting.

 Perform shooting tests to verify products adhere to specifications.

 Willingness to offer assistance to the Quality Manager on technical matters.

 Communicate and develop a positive relationship with internal and external employees and customers.

 Conform to strict standards and procedures. Be respectfully firm in communicating those standards to others involved in the processes.

 Some international and domestic travel may be required.

 All other duties as required/assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS

 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 FIREARMS EXPERIENCE

 Knowledge of firearms, their classifications, action type/option, some mechanical understanding, and one who enjoys/supports and has a passion for the firearms industry.

Winchester Product Quality Technician

We have a Winchester Product Quality Technician position available in our Browning Distribution & Service Center located in Arnold, Missouri.  Browning, a world leader in firearms and sporting goods, has a high reputation of being "The Best There Is."  The candidate we are seeking will be representing Browning with that same "high quality" image.

 Assist the Q.C. Engineer in conducting audits on new gun products.  Measure and analyze part to print conformance, and assist with product qualification.  Position requires extensive shooting including large gauge and caliber firearms.  Position requires blueprint proficiency, some experience in metrology & metallurgy, and practical application of Microsoft office software. 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 Sample inspect all incoming new gun products merchandise for acceptability and conformance to specification.  Requires use of an optical comparator, micrometers, a Rockwell testing machine, blueprint interpretation and conversion of measurements for Metric to British.

 Ability to endure a high volume of repetitive shooting.

 Willingness to offer assistance to the QC Manager on technical matters.

 Administer safety and security tests.

 Perform test and evaluation reporting.  Extensive test shooting for both quality and accuracy will be performed.

 Communication and developing a positive relationship with internal and external employees and customers.

 Conform to strict standards and procedures, and be respectfully firm in communicating those standards to others involved in the processes.

 Some international and domestic travel may be required.

 All other duties as required.

Customer Service Agent

 There is a job opening in the Customer Service Department for a full-time Customer Service Agent.  (40 hours per week).

 This position requires the candidate to be very polite, dependable and self-motivated.  The qualified candidate must have excellent phone skills including the ability to “listen” to what the customer is saying.  In addition, Browning is looking for a candidate that has the ability to know and adapt to some of the newest technologies including email correspondence and chat. 

 They will be performing duties that require a technical knowledge of Browning and Winchester products.  Hunting and shooting experience is a definite plus. The agent must have a great desire to learn as much as possible about Browning and Winchester through catalogs, product classes and sales meetings.

 The candidate will need to be flexible, open-minded and have a “team player” attitude. The candidate will be required to attend trade shows as needed and engage the customers in conversation about the Browning and Winchester products.

 Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite is required. Knowledge of Oracle is a definite plus.

 The essential duties and responsibilities include:

 Provide technical support and customer service to consumers.

  1. Have the ability to adapt and use new technologies as needed. 
  2. Answer e-mail in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Learn all Browning and Winchester products in order to process consumer questions and orders.
  4. Attend consumer/dealer shows as needed.
  5. Other duties as assigned.
