- Gloss is a traditional finish chosen for its attractive classic appearance.
- Satin finishes are subdued, but otherwise very similar to gloss finishes - the matte surface is less reflective but still highlights the natural beauty of the wood it protects.
- Oil finishes appear similar to a standard gloss finish, but require a more intensive manual application process.
