Browning Adds New Extra-Wide Body Gold Series Safe, New and Improved Interior Packages and Heritage Graphics for 2009.

Morgan, Utah — Browning will introduce its largest ever safe model for 2009 in its Gold Series line to give consumers up to 66 long gun storage with a total of  65 cubic feet of space for ultimate capacity storage of firearms and valuables. Also long gun storage on doors of Medallion and higher grade safes will feature a new swivel DPX barrel loop that makes removing a gun quick and easy.  A new Grade VI Interior on Platinum Plus safes has a full-length mirror on back of safe and cedar paneling on the sides and ceiling for added visual appeal.

The new Gold Series Model G65F model safe has outer dimensions of 72" x 56" x 28" and is 1200º F/100 min. standard fire protection rated.  It has heavy, 10 gauge steel body construction, 1 1/4" diameter chromed locking bolts with four sided coverage, 1 5/16" thick Duo-Formed® door, Uni-Force™ Locking System with three cams and the OmniBarrier® Lock Protection System.   It is UL tool attack listed and features a S & G® Group II lock with key lock and five- year limited warranty along with many other features.  A five-spoke handle, 21/53 duo-gun interior with 13 gun DPX Storage System on door is standard.  Weight is 1,600 lbs., Suggested Retail, $5,499.00.

The new Heritage Graphics option will be offered on Browning Platinum Plus, Gold, Medallion, Sterling and Copper Series Hunter Green or Gloss Black safes.  Graphics for Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Wild Turkey Federation and the National Rifle Association can be ordered to show allegiance to these great organizations that work to preserve our rights and hunting heritage.  The price includes a donation to the respective organization.
