New Tactical Lights from Browning for 2014
Morgan Utah: Browning is expanding its Black Label line of products to now include Tactical Lights for 2014. Black Label Tactical Lights are designed from the ground up to work as a modular system. Basic flashlights will be offered along with components that include a remote cable switch endcap accessory and 1913 Picatinny Rail Mount that allows many Black Label lights (and many other Browning flashlights) to be attached to any Mil-STD 1913 Picatinny accessory rail.
New Black Label Tactical Lights include the Tactical 9V model that features a powerful Cree® XM-L white LED with 725 lumens and an effective distance of 500 yards. The all-aluminum body has a non-slip design and features a removable anti-roll finger retention ring. An interchangeable hardened glass breaking point is mounted on the robust aluminum alloy tailcap. The tactical lock-out tailcap switch features momentary, continuous and fast strobe . Interchangeable smooth and crenelated front bezels are included. The new Tactical 9V light uses three CR123A batteries and is waterproof and submersible to three feet for 30 minutes. Mounts on rifles and shotguns with optional 1913 Picatinny rail mount and remote cable switch (sold separately). Suggested Retail, $159.00.
Also new is the Approach Tactical Keychain/Knife combo. This light/knife combo includes a small Russ Kommer-designed folding knife that rides on the rail slot of the light. The Approach Tactical Keychain light quickly unbuckles from the key ring and attaches to a handgun or other firearm with standard Mil-STD 1913 Picatinny rail. It features two white LEDs plus one 5mW red laser for intimidation. The laser is a directional pointer only and is not intended for use as a targeting indicator or firearm aiming device. LEDs and laser can be turned on separately or at the same time. Length is 2.25” and brightness is 18 lumens. Suggested Retail, $31.00.
