Browning Expands Knife Line-Up for 2007.
MORGAN, UTAH—
Browning’s diverse line of knives for the avid outdoorsman and collector continues to expand with five new series being added. New second models are being introduced in the special Master Knifemaker Series Collection of custom knives, introduced by Browning last year.
Scrimshaw Knives. Browning’s new Scrimshaw series knives are folding lockbacks that feature hollow ground, satin-finished 420-J2 stainless steel blades with laser-engraved Browning Buckmark logo. Blades are a 2 7/8” drop point design. Handles are zinc casting with laser-engraved Buckmark logo and are adorned with scrimshaw artwork featuring an elk, whitetail deer or mule deer. Suggested Retail, $59.99.
Mountain Ti Knives. The new Browning Mountain Ti series knives are a folding frame lock design, featuring 440-A stainless steel blades with a titanium coating. The handles are two-toned gray machined 420J stainless and also titanium coated. Pocket clips for handy access and ambidextrous thumbstuds for quick opening are added features. The small model with 2 ¼” blade will have a Suggested Retail price of $14.99 and the medium model with a 3” blade, $19.99.
Yellowstone Fillet Knives. Browning’s new Yellowstone Fillet series knives are a fixed blade fillet in 440-A stainless steel with a Teflon® finish. Handles are an injection molded synthetic in Gold/Black color. A Ballistic Cloth™ sheath is provided. A 6 ¼” blade length model and 7 ¼” blade model will be offered. Suggested Retail, $37.99 - $39.99.
Buckmark Classic Knives. The new Buckmark Classic series knives are integral locking folders with blades made of AUS-8A stainless steel and bead-blasted 420-J2 stainless handles that feature three laser-cut Buckmark logos and pocket clip set them apart. Available in Black, Gray or Silver with 3” blade lengths, Suggested Retail, $59.99.
New Falcon Series Knives. The new Falcon series knives are integral locking folders with 3 ¼” AUS-8A stainless steel blades with a satin finish. Two models will be offered with either a genuine stag handle or deeply figured walnut handle. Both models have a pocket-clip. Suggested Retail, $59.99 - $69.99.
Master Knifemaker Series Collector Knives. The second model in the Mastersmith Collection of knives designed by five of the most prestigious knifemakers in the country will be offered for 2007. Fixed blade models will be supplied with a custom-made leather sheath.
Jerry Fisk’s Large Fixed Blade Trailing Point Skinner knife will feature a 4 ¼” blade made from high-carbon steel with satin finish and laser etched on one side. The handle is a one-piece stabilized walnut with stainless steel guard. Suggested Retail, $317.00.
Bailey Bradshaw’s Mother-of–pearl Folder knife will feature a 3 ¼” drop point blade in a folding lockback design. The handle is in Mother-of-pearl. Suggested Retail, $149.95.
John Fitch’s Short Clip Point Fixed Blade knife will feature a 5 ¼” short clip point blade made from high-carbon steel with a satin finish and laser etching on one side. The handle is stabilized curly maple with a stainless steel guard. Suggested Retail, $317.00.
Joseph Keeslar’s Small Hunter Fixed Blade knife will feature a 5 ¼” small hunter blade made from high-carbon steel with a satin finish. The handle is Desert ironwood with a stainless steel guard. Suggested Retail, $317.00.
James Crowell’s Large Drop Point Fixed Blade knife will feature a 5 ½” large drop point blade made from high-carbon steel with a satin finish, laser-etched on one side. The handle is one-piece stabilized walnut with a stainless steel guard. Suggested Retail, $317.00.
