Don’t be caught during any outdoor hunting, fishing or hiking trip without the proper protection and features that Browning Outdoor Clothing can provide. When you’re wearing the right gear, you’ll be comfortable in the most severe conditions and have your shells, knife, etc., ready at your fingertips. If Mother Nature decides to kick up a blizzard or deliver a downpour, you’ll be prepared with the most innovative, feature-packed Browning Apparel ever.
Maintaining mobility and comfort when drawing your bow, shouldering your rifle, climbing over rocks, up a tree or through brush is of the utmost importance. The Browning Transitions Series apparel won the Field and Stream Best Of The Best award in the clothing category for 2008.
The Browning Transitions will appeal to those who go to extremes to track down and bag their game. The Transitions Series was created out of necessity with three primary objectives: (1) to do more with less by eliminating weight and bulk while improving performance. (2) To be backpack friendly by placing pockets where they can be easily accessed when wearing a pack. (3) To revitalize the time-proven concept of layering. In the Transitions Series, Browning addresses the three major components of a layering system, namely the Base Layer or NTS (Next To Skin), the Middle Layer, referred to as the Insulation layer, and Outer Layer or Protection layer. Garments for each category have been created using the latest fabrics and design technologies that take layering to the next level. Note that the Transition Series of Browning Clothing are in two categories: A Transitions Series complete for Big Game and a Transition Series exclusively for Waterfowl. You may look up each category here by clicking on the titles to the left.
AddHeat™ is the very latest in a heating system that says goodbye to the days of heavy battery packs, clumsy controllers and short battery life. Heated clothing technology finally comes of age for hunters with Browning’s new AddHeat System. At the core (forgive the pun) of the new AddHeat system is the heating element located in the upper back of a compatible garment, right where it can effectively maintain core body temperature. In addition to the body, several popular Browning jackets and parkas feature heating elements in the pockets to distribute heat and provide warmth for hands and fingers. The Browning AddHeat system is comprised of the flexible, lightweight, washable heating element found in the garment and the AddHeat Power Pack. The Power Pack includes a compact, rechargeable Li-ion battery that provides up to 5.5 hours of continuous body warming heat, a simple to use “intelligent” Micro-CPU controller and 110-220 VAC charger. The Power Pack is not included with AddHeat garments and must be purchased separately. This allows the consumer to purchase a single Power Pack to use with the garment(s) of their choice. Learn much more about Browning’s new AddHeat System right here on line.
(Don’t forget the new Browning Catalog for 2009. It’s a keeper, and has all the facts, figures and photos on all Browning products.)
