We’re Shooting to Improve Children’s Lives
Release Date: 3/6/2006
Browning is proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities as a national sponsor of the Kid & Clays Foundation. This decision was an easy one for us because it gave us an opportunity to be involved with an organization that helped families regardless of an accident or illness.
A strong mind. A strong body. And a safe, supportive place to grow. These are things that every child needs - and deserves.
Helping to provide these things is what they do.
The cornerstone Ronald McDonald House program began in 1974 based on a simple idea: Provide a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Since that time, every night 6,000 families stay at a House and more than 10 million families around the world have benefited from the comfort provided by a Ronald McDonald House.
The Kids & Clays Foundation is committed to improving the lives of children and their families by partnering with shooting sports enthusiasts to develop programs that generate funds to support the operating needs of the Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms and Ronald McDonald Mobile Medical Units.
In 1999, the foundation started “Shooting to Improve Children’s Lives” through nationally sanctioned Sporting Clays events. Thanks to the support of many caring individuals and sponsors, more than $550,000 was raised last year and a net profit of more than $2,000,000 has been distributed to local houses.
One of the mutual goals we all share as outdoor enthusiasts is more acceptance and understanding by the general public about guns, hunting and shooting sports. Ronald McDonald House’s through the Kids & Clays Foundation has brought hundreds of new shooters to the shooting industry.
So join us in supporting their shoots around the country and visit their web site at www.kidsandclays.com to see how you too can help make a difference.
