Browning and the NWTF®
Release Date: 1/1/2006
Founded in 1973, the National Wild Turkey Federation is a non-profit organization with over 450,000 members throughout the United States and 11 foreign countries. The NWTF has spent millions of dollars on research, conservation and education, which has resulted in a wild turkey population expansion from 1.3 million birds in 1973 to an estimated 5.6 million today. Browning is pleased to support the NWTF as a partner in their conservation and educational efforts by offering products bearing the NWTF logo. The BPS™ in 10, 12 and 20 gauge, and Gold shotguns in 10 and 12 gauge have special NWTF features. This package is designed specifically with turkey hunters and turkey country in mind. The full coverage of Mossy Oak® New Break-Up® camouflage prevents spooking these extremely wary-eyed game birds, while the weather-resistant composite stock and forearm with the exclusive Dura-Touch® Armor Coating enhances stock grip and takes on any weather conditions. A 24" barrel topped with a HiViz® TriViz™ fiber-optic sight is perfect for quickly acquiring a target in thick brush, and finally, the NWTF logo is proudly displayed on the buttstock. In addition to the Browning NWTF shotguns, is the NWTF Conservation Series safe.
