Question:
Can I drill holes in the safe?
Answer:

Yes. You can drill holes in the floor of the safe to mount it to the floor. The floors of new safes come pre-drilled from the factory.  These holes are used to mount the safes with lag bullets to the pallets when they are shipped from the factory.  You can also drill holes in the back of the safe to mount it to the wall, but you must re-seal the holes in the back wall of a fire safe with a fire-resistant silicone sealant or the fire resistance of the safe will be compromised.   Please refer to the owners manual for additional information.
