Can I alter the length on pants, bibs, etc.?

Yes, inseam lengths can be altered with varying degress of difficulty.  Simple cotton pants like the Wasatch pants are simple.  However, if there is a zipper at the cuff, it may require removing the zipper and replacing it with a shorter one.  On many of our pants/bibs that have cuff zippers, we stop the zipper 2" or 3" from the bottom to allow shortening of the cuff without having to replace the zipper.  We recommend that you do not attempt to shorten the inseam on Gore-tex models more than the 2" or 3" mentioned above. If you have to remove the zipper it will require retaping to make it waterproof.  We can recommend an authorized Gore-tex service center to provide this service for you.
